Sheffield loves a pint, and St.Paddy’s day is the perfect excuse to drink up! So you’ll all be pleased to know that the annual, big, white tent is back in Fargate. It’s still free, and set to be better than ever!

As of March 17th, the Guiness tent will be playing live, Irish music, selling traditional, Irish food and serving the famous pint itself (along with many of your other favourite ales).

A hearty barbercue will be available in the heated beer garden all day and night, alongside a large screen showing the Six Nations Rugby and the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

If all the Irish malarky isn’t your scene, the tent will also be playing host to the local band “The Problem With Marie” and a continental market, selling clothes, crafts, cheese and confectionary.

The big, white tent is open from the 17th-20th of March, 11am-1.30am Thursday to Saturday, and 11am to 11.30pm on Sunday. It is set up by volunteers who work all year round to make sure Sheffield celebrates the famous Saint in style, so make sure you’re there to join in all the fun. What a day to be alive!
